Brands like Target, Walmart and CVS are growing their chunk of the market, thanks to premium program offerings like Walmart+, CVS CarePass and Target Shipt that compete directly with Amazon, offering enrollees free medication/grocery delivery and other instant perks in return for a monthly payment.
According to a consumer study by Clarus Commerce, 66% of Clarus surveyees said they belong to a premium program in 2020, up from 58% in last year’s report.
